A hearing aid can be discreet without looking or fitting exactly the same on every person. Signature Series focuses on small custom designs, giving you a choice of Completely-In-Canal and Invisible-In-Canal styles rather than a single standard shape. The fit that is possible depends on your ear anatomy and the features you need.
That makes the selection process personal. Someone who wants to avoid changing small batteries may prefer the rechargeable option. Someone who places the highest priority on discretion may want to explore the deeper-fitting IIC. Another person may feel more comfortable with a replaceable-battery CIC. The Signature Series family includes all three approaches.

Small size is only one part of Signature Series. Starkey identifies an advanced processor and Neuro Sound Technology as central to the range, combining sound processing with personalized custom construction. The platform is designed to support clear, natural sound within these compact hearing aids.
Neuro Sound Technology provides the sound-processing foundation for Signature Series. Your hearing professional then programs the hearing aid for your hearing needs; the technology and the individual fitting are intended to work together.
Bring examples of the conversations you find difficult. Hearing a colleague across a meeting table, following a family dinner and talking with someone at home can raise different concerns. Those examples help make the fitting discussion specific to your life.
Starkey also offers Edge Mode+ for supported Signature Series CIC configurations. This on-demand feature uses artificial intelligence to adjust sound for clearer speech or improved listening comfort at the push of a button. Availability and control options should be confirmed for the exact model and configuration being ordered.

The three styles share a product family, but they do not have identical capabilities. Consider these practical differences before making your selection.
The CIC R NW provides up to 38 hours of use per charge, according to Starkey. Actual battery life varies by individual use. The CIC NW uses a size 10A or 312 battery, depending on configuration, while the IIC NW uses a size 10A battery.
Think about which routine will be easier to maintain. Would you prefer placing your hearing aids in a charger, or keeping spare batteries available? During your consultation, ask to review charging, battery replacement and everyday handling before deciding.
These NW models are non-wireless hearing aids without direct Bluetooth audio streaming. They do not stream phone calls, music or television audio directly into the devices.
That may be an acceptable trade-off when a small custom fit is your priority. When streaming is essential, tell us before ordering so we can discuss other hearing aid options alongside Signature Series.
Starkey describes the rechargeable CIC R NW as waterproof to a depth of up to one meter, with IP68 protection. This is the model carrying the waterproof claim in the Signature Series comparison; it should not be applied automatically to the replaceable-battery styles.
Follow the care instructions supplied with your hearing aids. Starkey does not recommend swimming while wearing any hearing aids, including its waterproof models.
The smallest hearing aid is not necessarily the most practical choice for every person. Ear anatomy, desired features and handling ability all influence which custom style may be suitable. Very small IIC devices can be more challenging for someone with dexterity difficulties.
A useful fitting conversation should address comfort as well as appearance. Can you insert and remove the hearing aid confidently? Can you manage its battery or charging routine? Does the proposed style support the listening features you want?
We encourage you to raise these questions before placing an order. A product photograph shows the design; your evaluation helps determine how that design may work for you.
A custom shell and personalized programming serve different purposes. The shell determines the physical fit, while the hearing aid’s settings need to be matched to your hearing needs.
